The purpose of the Southern Collector Road is to provide a critical missing link for an expanding roadway network in one of the busiest areas in town. The construction of the segment of the collector road will complete a link from Route 7 Business to Maple Avenue, relieve traffic congestion on Main Street and Maple Avenue, and provide more direct access to destinations east of Purcellville.
The Town of Purcellville will conduct a public hearing during the design process to address community concerns.
